COVID Conversations: Katrina Maliamauv on Grassroots Efforts

In the middle of a destabilizing pandemic, there is a tendency to be overwhelmed by the enormity of the needs, the urgency of every action, and the scarcity of resources to go around. But we find hope in people and organizations coming together to do what needs to be done – from civil society organizations refocusing attention and resources to delivery of information, aid, and services… to individuals mobilizing support from networks of friends and families.

In the first of our #COVIDConversations last week, Katrina Maliamauv of Malaysia reminded us that, “Bigger efforts are needed as many needs are still left out.”
