[EVENT] COVID Conversations on Asian Solidarity: How the Marginalised Respond to COVID-19

We promise this is not another boring online forum!

Let’s have a meaningful conversation on ‘ASIAN SOLIDARITY: How the Marginalised Respond to COVID-19’ on Wednesday, 15 April 2020, at 4:30 in the afternoon (UTC+8).

You are all welcome to join the conversation to be moderated by the fabulous NAOMI FONTANOS, Executive Director of GANDA Filipinas. We have also invited a few special guests to start us off in this exchange, including NISHA AYUB (SEED Foundation [Malaysia] on trans communities and sex workers), KATE GALIDO (Non-Timber Forest Products – Exchange Programme [Philippines] on indigenous peoples), TESS BRIONES (Affiliated Network for Social Accountability ([Philippines] on the urban poor), JOLOVAN WHAM (social worker and activist [Singapore] on migrant workers), and of course, YOU!

If you work with marginalised peoples or are part of a marginalised community, please join us to share your stories and your community’s strategies for overcoming the challenges during this time.

Innovation for Change – East Asia‘s #COVIDConversations will take place on Zoom. The meeting ID and password will be provided after you register here: https://bit.ly/2Rn4vWP
